Shows New Hampshire within the Merrimack River. Lake Winnipesaukee forms the northern extent of the map. Geographical detail is confined to the river only.
Shows a printed line "Due West" across the map, and a line added by hand in red ink, "The Line claimed by New Hampshire West".
Decorative compass rose at lower left orients north to the right of the map.
Shows title at lower right.
Shows "A Scale of Miles" at lower centre.
