The National Archives, Kew, hold a [Plan of Cumberland Fort showing the North Branch of the Potomac River and Wills Creek, with a sentry, a mounted figure at a ford, a rowing boat] (MPG 1/326) on the same scale as this K.Top map. The National Archives map was an enclosure to Lieutenant Governor Dinwiddie's despatch of 12 February 1755, extracted from CO 5/15.
The Darlington Digital Library at the University of Pittsburgh holds a copy of the map produced by James A. Burt on 20 June 1874 for W.M.Darlington (Identifier DARMAP0040).
