Date attributed on stylistic grounds and from the depiction of extensive defences at "Anse de la Cormorandière" (lacking at the Siege of Louisbourg in 1745) and the mention of Sr. (?) "Julien" and Sr. (?) Joubert (amongst other names) in the text. However, previous British Library cataloguing attributes a date of 1745.

Copy at Add Ms 57,702.7. Bound in R.U.S.I. Vol LXVII. Map comprises 3 sheets, joined. Shows manuscript addition of "7" in pencil at upper right. Shows red stamp of R.U.S.I. at lower right. Evidence of old folds. Green circular label to verso showing "1". White label to verso showing "DRAWER 28 SECTION 1". Blue label to verso shows "A 28/1". "28/1" repeated to verso in pencil. 3 accompanying sheets have manuscript additions of "7*", "7**" and "7***" in pencil respectively. Two (of the 3) accompanying sheets bear the red stamp of the R.U.S.I., the third accompanying sheet has the manuscript addition of "C 47".
