Lowery suggests a link between this map and another in the Faden Collection at the Library of Congress "[Map of the coast of Florida, from Talbot Island to the mouth of Musquitta River, with plan of St. Augustine, shewing the position of Gen. Oglethorpe's camp & c.]" (Call Number: Faden 43 Vault Copy 1), but the Library of Congress catalogue notes differences in the spelling of placenames and the placing of inlets.

Extends along the Florida coast from "Fort William" (located on present-day Fort George Island on the mouth of the St Johns River) to the "Mosquito River" (present-day Halifax River).
