Date suggested from completion of blockhouse in 1758 on the west bank of the Hudson River, opposite Fort Edward and Rogers Island, and comparison with Add Ms 57.711.10. incorporating the date (and Thomas Sowers' name).
Shows title at upper centre.
Shows lettered key (A-H) at lower left, including "the Drawbridge".
Shows scale bar at lower left, "Scale of 20 Feet to an Inch".
Copy at Add Ms 57,711.9. Bound in R.U.S.I. Vol LXXVI. Shows manuscript addition of "9" in pencil at upper right. Shows "A 60" in pencil at lower left and "A 28/65" at upper left. Laid on archival tissue. Green circular label to verso shows "28". White label to verso shows "DRAWER 28 SECTION 1". Blue label to verso shows "A 28/65". "A 60" repeated in pencil. Paper watermark shows a shiwld with a diagonal stripe, surmounted by a fleur de lys, with "LVG" beneath.
