The map was enclosed, with others, in Pittman to Hage, 27 March 1765. The description referred to in the letter is probably the original of the copy enclosed in Farmer to Gage of 30 March 1765.
This plan, with the title Draught of the R. Ibberville... is reproduced in Pittman, Philip. The present state of the European settlements on the Mississippi (London, 1770).
A copy of this map, from the Shelburne Papers (Clements Library), is entitled A draught of Massiac Lake...
