Subject: Map of North America including Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean Islands. Includes inset continuation of northern Canada and Hudson Bay. Cartouche in lower left corner shows cherubs using various mathematical and scholarly equipment. Cartouche at upper right shows two cherubs, one holding a fish and the other a fishing net. An allegorical woman, possibly America wearing a feathered headdress, holds a bow.
