Map has numerous changes pasted onto it, including title label. New title label contains stamp with 1948 date but this may not correlate to changes (same stamp found on other maps). The Crescent Corporation appears to be one of those companies that auctioned off textile plants in the 1930s and 1940s.

The American Textile History Museum closed in 2016. This item has been transferred to the Osher Map Library at the University of Southern Maine.
