Includes plan of buildings (with dimensions), elevation views of individual buildings (with functions of building floors and rooms), and surroundings. Also includes description of property, power, stock and product, and extensive description of existing water sources and fire protection resources. Lacks isometric view of buildings; see 1994.91.488.1 for an isometric view of buildings. A label "Whiting and Company" had been pasted over the title "Lyman Mills (Cotton Mill)" but has come loose. Some pencilled notes have been added to the top of the map. See 1994.91.487.2 for a copy of this same map from 1918 but which was not revised to 1928, and which does not contain any pasted or pencilled additions.
