Overview:

This map set originally was created in 2016 as one of a set of three print publications. Leventhal Map Center education staff collaborated with a teacher advisory group composed of Boston Public School teachers to develop materials to help students develop critical thinking skills and build content knowledge about the events, history, and outcomes of the American Revolution and the new nation. The two additional Map Sets in this collection are Britain's North American Empire 1607-1764 and Unrest in Boston 1765-1776 and can be found in the lesson plans section of the Leventhal Map Center Digital Collections web site.
