Maps, Manuscripts and Documents: Boston and the American Revolution


Overview: This website created by Dan Donoff, one of the Leventhal Map Center’s 2015 teacher fellows, contains a selection of primary sources, including maps, images and documents that help to teach the events that occurred in and around Boston at the beginning of the American Revolution. This site was created for elementary level teachers but has great resources for all levels. Highlights include an interactive map of Paul Revere’s ride, maps and resources to teach the Boston Massacre and general resources about teaching with primary sources
